Over 20 years ago, our Father & Cousin, Andrew Sorrentino, opened a pizzeria in Lake George, NY. This humble start marks the beginning of a journey that led our family to where we are today.
Moving forward, Andrew opened a variety of restaurants. Spending his time behind the line as head Chef, he pioneered the legacy we continue to carry. Andrew’s first venture into family-style Italian cuisine was Matteos. After building then selling the business, Andrew looked to his sons Salvatore & Matthew along with their cousin Peter to found something new.
Andrew passed away in October of 2009.
In his honor, Salvatore, Matthew, and Peter came together and founded Andrea’s 25 of Commack.
The secret to their success cannot be seen or felt, but can be smelled right from their kitchen doors. Because after all, its all about the Food.
Upon walking in, we waited at least 10 minutes to be acknowledged. We had plenty of time to notice the clutter near the front window and hostess area. Entering the dining area, the lighting was a bit bright where we were seated, and the noise level was akin to sitting in a school cafeteria. It also took a while between waiter visits. For the price paid, there are more ambient locations. The food, however, was very good.
My husband and I had dinner on Saturday night at Andrea 25. We ate in their new igloo and it was really cozy and warm. The service was excellent and the food was delicious as always. We’re definitely going back in a few weeks to eat in the igloo again.
First-rate ambience and super attentive service. The meals were fresh and delightful. Will absolutely recommend this place to others. Fair rates and large meals. Great work.
Had a great experience in this spot with my kids. The food comes out rapidly and the customer service is just good. Prices are reasonable.
Great evening out celebrating our anniversary! We have a delicious meal and Nick our server was excellent. Couldn't ask for more! We'll be back soon. Thanks Andrea's 25!
